I was married to my wife Donna in 1965 and we had two children, Peter and Mary. I was a civilian engineer for the Air Force but resigned in 1987 to become a contract programmer. My wife passed away in 1988 and several years later I married my current wife, Patricia.

We've traveled and worked together on contracts for NASA, Honda, the State and the Federal government.

Eventually we built a house in Fair Oaks and slowed down a bit. We still work but we travel less since it's more demanding as we get older.

We spend more time, now, relaxing and feeding the deer in our back yard.

And we still work.%

I happened by here because of David Rose's passing away - and I read your profile.
And I'll say 'happy Birthday' now because I will be away from a computer on the 29th.
But it does sound like you've lived a good life and apparently have no regrets. And while I'm not a fan of Dr Phil or rules of life - I gotta say "keep it simple", "Eat light" and "it's not all about me" are some pretty good rules that I would have done well to follow.
